David Astor is a seasoned professional in the ICT industry and is a key member of the Kaplan Learning Technologies team. David is a Solutions Engineer working out of Kaplan’s Atlanta office, providing customers with eLearning solutions that fit their requirements. David builds close relationships with customers during their decision making to ensure that the correct solution is in place. Once chosen, David ensures a successful implementation and roll-out by providing technical expertise and hands on training to each of Kaplan Learning Technologies’ customers.

This session will provide attendees with the opportunity to be part of a live customer case study. Kaplan Learning Technologies has invited ADCQ (Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland) to share their experience on transitioning to software simulations as part of their eLearning strategy. Software simulations enable an organisation to train and assess their employees in a safe yet realistic environment. Employees gain a full understanding of the tasks, objectives and concepts of new and upgraded internal business systems, resulting in increased productivity and higher ROI. ADCQ will discuss why they chose to implement software simulations, the effect on their organisation, change management issues faced and user feedback and results. ADCQ will demonstrate some of their example content while discussing lessons learnt and tips and tricks. This lively and interactive discussion is aimed to assist other organisations who may be evaluating a similar move.
