Bridgette Dalzell, Head of Alternate Resourcing & Learning - Telecom NZ

Bridgette joined Telecom 20 years ago and has held many roles across various areas of the Telecom business, primarily, Mobile, The Dealer Channel, Customer Services & Sales. Her main career path in Telecom has been in learning, development & people capability,  however, Bridgette has headed up Telecom’s off shoring in Manila for the last 4 years. And she has been in this role since September 2009. Bridgette has led the strategy, design and development of Telecom’s Agents @ Home programme, which has 150 agents currently working across all areas of New Zealand for their home environments. Prior to joining Telecom Brdigette lived in London. She is originally from Christchurch and has lived in Auckland for the last 7 years. Brdigette has completed a Post Grad Certificate in 2008. In her spare time she enjoy’s catching up with friends, and family and travelling.

Telecom New Zealand will share some of the insights for developing their Award winning blended learning in a virtual environment for agents working at home including:
- The need to develop a virtual programme and the challenges from moving from Bricks and Mortar
  training to a virtual environment
- Working on a programme of this scale, two  project teams, a new Learning management
  system ensuring engagement and buy in from the business
- The solution – how we went about it and achieved emotional engagement with the brand and
  Telecom NZ people
