Shifting the middle
Organizations looking to improve the performance of their workforce often focus their attention on
high-potential development or filling skills gaps for low performers. But should they be focusing more energy on the middle? The majority of the workforce falls into that middle category, an overlooked
and underestimated opportunity for performance improvement efforts. The truth is there is a tremendous benefit to creating tailored performance improvement environments that target all levels of your organization. Hard data shows a focus on the middle can yield major business results. So what are
the barriers to making these investments and how does an organization overcome them?
