Caring for our environment is a huge responsibility, but every little bit helps. That's why Training Australia Magazine has signed a Carbon Agreement with GreenFleet to offset carbon emissions caused by the LearnX event in Melbourne. We are contributing funds from every LearnX registration received to aid GreenFleet's native tree planting program in Victoria. We recognise environmental management as a top priority and have incorporated environmental initiatives into our planning policy. In organising and promoting LearnX Asia Pacific 2008 we will work with our suppliers, exhibitors, delegates and visitors to adopt sound environmental practices 'Green Guidelines' that will reduce waste, conserve energy and other resources and offset carbon emissions. We encourage everyone involved with LearnX to consider how they can neutralise their carbon footprint at LearnX. We also recognise that each delegate, exhibitor and visitors ability to implement these GREEN GUIDELINES may depend on a number of factors. Some may have a greater ability to implement these guidelines than others and some may be able to institute measures that go far beyond the scope of the Green Guidelines. We encourage everyone to use their Best Efforts to implement the Green Guidelines to the extent reasonably feasible and make them your own. Although the environment is a serious issue, make these Green Guidelines a positive experience for you and other professionals at LearnX. Enthusiastic participation will encourage eco-friendly habits.  Inspiring and educating yourself and others will ensure environmentally sustainable practices. Thank you for your participation.
