Talk: Algorithms for Assessing our Tolerance to Ambiguity

Whilst the future state of work demands increasingly higher tolerance for ambiguity, we are seeing this is actually declining within the workforce. In collaboration with QUT we set about creating a tool to measure people’s ability to cope with ambiguity in a workplace environment. Behind the scenes is a sophisticated algorithm that analyses responses to questions and generates a complex report that groups ambiguity tolerances into dimensions and elements. The report includes a combination of benchmarking against norm groups, detailed descriptions of the individual’s current state, and improvement recommendations.
